Well, still having the same loss of power. Gonna try step by step diagnosis. I unhooked the green wire from the o2 sensor, no change. Unhooked the harness from the o2 sensor and still no change. Will pull all electrical connections and dry and seal them, but wondering if I should try new plug wires. I have never changed them(owned van for a year and 12). I have a new dist cap, rotor, and plugs already. No hole in the exhaust. Will also pull the fuel filter tomorrow. This started happening after I rinsed the van by hand after trip to beach and used the hand sprayer to rinse undercarriage. Any other advice, please feel free. thanks alot. P.S. Texas VW Classic is next weekend in Fredericksburg, TX. Anyone nearby should try and make the trip. see www.vosaclub.org Michael in San Antonio 91GL AT 'Gringo' 73 Beetle
