Hi all. In making some notes regarding new caliper/pads install on my '81, I re read "Note" on P 40.10 of Bentley. "If brake hose bracket is removed, clearance between wheel and hose must be checked when reinstalled." It specifies 1". I removed this bracket on each side. I don't see any issue in terms of wheel clearance but on the driver side, the hose was quite close to spring when wheel turned full to left. Is this an issue? I adjusted bracket slightly to allow some clearance. Was this incorrect and/or unneeded? Here's the page with that part of my write up http://tubaneil.googlepages.com/frontcaliperspads3 Entire write up http://tubaneil.googlepages.com/frontcaliperspads Thanks for any clarifications or critiques. Want to make notes of what I did as clear as possible.
