I would think that in my case, seeing an old "rusty" tank with a rusted out tag would be more reason for a pump jockey to not fill it. No one has bothered to look/feel the bottom of my tank. They always fill it. I have read that some won't touch the auto fill type valves. Mine has the standard fill/bleed setup. If, nay when, I refurb my tank, I'll paint it with what Tremclad markets as an RV or recreational white. IIRC, it looks a lot like what a propane tank colour would be. Neil.
