The connectors in the black box on the firewall are different. The 2.1 harness uses round multi connectors, so you'll have to do some adapting there. I did this when fitting a DJ-code harness to my 84. Although Digijet, the DJ harness uses MV style connectors, idle stabilizer, throttle position and PS sensor.
