RE: Paint Matching When I first got my '90 I realized it had been repainted and not a stock VW color. I took the rig into a local auto body supply store (Wesco to be specific) and they used their little computer to do as perfect a match as I could expect. A pint of paint was about $32 IIRC and they put part of it up in rattle cans for me. Side Note: My paint has of lot of metallic in it and the metal flakes settle out in a short time. I had to take the cans back into Wesco to have them run through thier shaker after the paint had set for a couple of months. |
