My man! 'Tis difficult indeed to creep up to a generator and cause its failure w/o detection, esp. if said generator is mounted into a pocket on the side of a ginormous RV. Also, one feels ambivalent about doing so when it's clear that w/o the generator, the hapless campers (and their little dog) will have to do w/o lighting, DirecTV, microwave, and Mr Coffee.
