The first thing I do when I get a new tank is prime and paint it. I have never in my travels had an issue with them as long as the dates were good. Brion S. Well, in the case of the most recent one, the paint job was far from perfect, I had taped off the stickers but still had some over spray on them. I think if anyone cared, it was obvious that the tank had been repainted. Granted, it was kids at the local Southern States that filled it, and probably could not have cared less. Now I was refused a filling at another local gas station, but I truly believe that was because the station attendant just didn't want to mess with it. Jeff |
