Neil,
Sure it will fit no problem. I am working on this myself right now
replacing all of the brake lines on a customer's Vanagon. As long as
you can mount it to the frame you should have no problem using it. I am
not sure what the difference internally there is between this early
version and the later one. The later one is no longer available. You
would have to get it good used. I have never actually seen one that was
bad just really rusty on the outside.
