my thoughts...... if $ 9 is the full 'normal price' ( like they are not left over stock of say 40 dollar brake pad sets ) ........... man, 9 bucks is cheap. and, given the conflicting requirements desired in brake pads............ which would be ........................decent price, how long they last, how well they stop, both cold and hot, and wet and dry, and the need for minimal brake pad dust getting onto the wheels, and quite operation ............given those conflicting desired traits in brake pads..............seems these would have to be weak in some department , or a few departments. Particularly ................decent life, good stopping power under varying conditions, little brake pad dust and quite operation ( no squealing ) ...... brake pad manufacturers go to a lot of trouble trying to get the mix just right there, and if normal pads are say 40ish ...... like I said.....if they are left over stock of 40 dollar pads.....perhaps OK........................ but at two bucks each pad, I wouldn't expect much, if that's their real normal price. . but at that price, you can afford to change them every oil change ! and if you buy two sets they're only 7 bucks a set. how cheap can ya go !? but sure, try 'em out and report back to the list. ( maybe they get better fuel mileage too ! ) Scott www.turbovans.com
