This is why I prefer an established local shop over a chain shop. A local shop is not relying on the recognition and advertising of a national brand-name. If they stay in business, it's usually because they're good.

There's a shop here, and all they do is alignments and front-end work. They are not located at a mall, or shopping center. It's not a place you'd likely notice unless you were looking for it. Yet they've been in business for a long time because they are good at what they do.

When I took my Vanagon in he admitted it had been "a while" since he'd seen one but he knew what to do and did a good job.
