a thought ... could we make some sort of little fit-together enclosure
(like a four-panel box) with sound insulation in the walls, and fit it
around the generator ... would that help block the sound?  or would it
cause the generator to overheat cause it wasn't getting enough
airflow?? if the airflow wasn't a problem, or if leaving a couple of
feet between the generator and the sound-blocker walls would work,
that sounds like it might be a way to keep everybody happy in the
woods. :)
