Same thing is happening to my van. Been driving me nuts for a while
now. There was a leak in the vapor barrier which allowed water to come
in from the outer lower window seal and make its way inside the door,
then found a way thru the vapor barrier. With the door panel off, I
could see a lot of water dribbling inside the door and that's with a
newer window seal. After sealing the vapor barrier, the leak was no
longer coming from that source, but still left a small puddle on the
rubber step pad in the footwell. I did notice that the main door seal
gets a bit distorted down there and it sorta rides up at the lower
front corner. Using a hose to test the leak source has not been
successful. It only leaks in a moderate to heavy rain while parked. No
leaks while driving.

New door seal?
