"What wheels fit?" To my knowledge, there are two direct bolt on Mercedes rims, all the others require spacers and longer bolts in the front (2wd) and studs in the rear. 8" is typically too wide to provide for proper clearance though. I think you may be able to run those on the rear, but not on the front. Take a look at the above thread for a wealth of information, and also e-mail "loogy", who seems to be the expert on wheels. He has helped quite a few of the list members, myself included. As I am learning, putting alloy wheels on your Vanagon isn't necessarily inexpensive.
