I have to agree. Backyard alightment jobs can result in savings but not enough to offset the cost of a prematurely work tire. My local alightment shop users laser technology to get it just right. I drop my Vanagon off. Go to lunch nearby. Tnen $100 later I am done. No skinned knuckles and good chance my 40 series Pirellis will have the best chance of survival when I go canyon carving in my Vanagon. OK, so maybe I tend to exaggerate a little. But those tires are $200 a piece!
