Neither is a big deal. Yes the temp II sensor should be fine with the digifant. They are the same as far as resistance values go. For the coolant temp that is easy to. One wire is the signal (yellow with red stripe) while the other is brown and ground. So ground the one and hook the other one up and you should be good to go. I can't speak to the connections in the black box on the firewall. I have never done this conversion. I just use the digijet system and I have never had any issues doing that. Have fun with your project.
