I'm intrigued. I see KEP has a kit for adapting a Mazda Rotary to a Type 1. I wonder how much of that would fit a Vanagon? Is there any particular benefit to a rotary? I drove a Mazda rotary for a few days back in the 80s (was a rental) and all I remember about it was it was very smooth.
