Subject: Vanagon Front Heater Cores Almost Ready
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed
As most of you know the front heater core for a water cooled Vanagon is
No Longer Available from any source. I have tried Germany, I have tried
every where and no one can get them new. Therefore we are having them
custom made by a company here in the US. They are going to be better
quality than OE and because they are custom they are going to be more
expensive but at least the part will be available for those who need
it. I am have a run of three made up and they should be done within the
next couple of weeks. I have two sold already and I was wondering if
someone on the list would like to buy the third one. I have to sell
them for $575 each. I know this is expensive but I am just passing my
cost of a custom unit along to you. If I could sell them cheaper I
would. If you are interested in buying one please contact me off list
and I will put you on the waiting list for them. I am not sure how long
a wait there will be between our first and second run so if you were
planning on replacing this unit this spring you should contact me as
soon as you can. First come first serve on this one. Each run will be
a run of three units. Let me know if I can help you in the matter.
