I'll back up Benny Boy's comments below by saying that keeping everything and running the Digijet ECU for over 12 years now was the best decision to make. I have been running the DJ Digijet ECU (025-906-021 F) for over 2 years now with no problems and a little bit better power. That's why I wrote the article www.oldvolkshome.com/19to21.htm over 10 years ago. It works, period. -- Jim Thompson 84 GL 1.9 "Gloria" 84 Westfalia 2.1 "Ole Putt" 72 411 Station Wagon "Pug" oldvolkshome@gmail.com http://www.oldvolkshome.com *********************************** On Tue, Apr 14, 2009 at 3:51 PM, Benny boy <huotb@videotron.ca> wrote: > My 2 cent. > > I have tried many configuration (on my van and other customers) and ended > up > with that (before i went Subaru): > http://www.benplace.com/85rouge/rouge128.jpg > > In my case, only the 2.1L exhaust seem to do a tiny difference powerwise. > Still, i did put back the 1.9L exhaust because i had new ones in the shop. > > Reason to stay with Digijet/1.9 setup: > -Less expensive exhaust system > -More reliable and simpler FI system > -More Digijet used part available and less expensive. > -Simpler cooling system and way more reliable (less hoses). > > 2.1L harness are as dry as the older one. > > On top, you already have everything install in there.
