YES ! I also have an 83 diesel westy, and just ordered this boot off of the Samba: Ad no. 735915. It's Parts Place, Inc. They think it is a boot for an aircooled, but it is not. I called and checked the part number. I will probably order another. These are original german made OEM parts, too.

I called Bus Depot today and the part is no longer available. (at least for them) Does anyone know of another source or of a similar rubber boot that will work in this application?
