Subject:      Increasing strength of engine mount area for 3.3l Subaru

I remember some discussion on the list about different ways to
strengthen the mount area, and have decided upon these couple ways of
strengthening.
Of these, which do you guys think would be best?

Attach a 3/16" steel plate under the frame rail (braze or weld).

Attach a 1/16" steel corner-stock piece above the frame rail.

With the corner-stock piece, I would weld a gusset between the two holes.
