Sometimes folk want a top-loader because they are concerned about having all the cold air fall out of the cabinet when the door is opened. This turns out to not be worth worrying about

Jerry, however, has a compellingly good reason for wanting to avoid a side-loader. If I knew that I would have to wrangle a sleeping 75 lb dog outta the way in order to get at a beer, I'd consider a top-loader, too.
