Mike,

Let it go. You already agreed with me that VW never produced anything they called a Westfalia Weekender in '85. It's what people choose to call them.

You also would know if you read the Wolfsburg brochure from '85 that Westfalia Wolfsburg Limited edition was its own model and no where does the literature call it a weekender. The Westfalia Wolfsburg Editions were modified in the Westfalia factory, have Westfalia official badging on the inside, and are not the weekender package offered by VW. The rear facing seat is different and folding rear bench seat is different as well along with the molded plastic under-seat panel. The Westfalia offers cabinetry while the weekender package has no mention of it. The Wolfsburg Edtition cabinetry is slightly different from the full camper as well in location of access door and in size due the full-width folding rear seat. Again, different model from weekender package and much different from the full camper.

The bottom line is this. The '85 Westfalia Wolfsburg Edition is not an '85 Wesftalia Weekender as called by VW. We both agree on that fact, so let's drop the issue.
