Subject: Free 2.1L Engine
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

I am moving (my home, not my shop) and have a 2.1L engine I don't feel like lugging around. It was pulled from a 1987 Vanagon with about 70k miles about 10 years ago and has been sitting outside ever since, usually but not always covered with a tarp (sometimes the tarp blew off). At the time it was removed it ran great but I believe it had a minor head gasket leak. (Chris Turner and I drove it all the way back from New York with this minor leak and it didn't overheat, so that gives you an idea of the severity.) Of course that was before it sat for a decade. Now I'd call it a good rebuilding candidate or a core.

It's free for the taking at my home in Perkiomenville, PA. Please email me if interested.
