I met Brendan Slevin this morning in Bend, barrista-ing at the downtown Bellatazza. The place was pretty busy so we didn't get a change to talk Vanagons, but agreed that we will get together soon to open engine compartments, point at things, and talk about them. Or something.

Vanagon owner sighting are on topic? Off?

A side note: If anyone has any recommendations for postcard-pretty places to camp in or very close to Central Oregon, I'd like to hear about it. No hookups, no concrete pads, no big RV's, yes river or lake shore camping. Quiet, secluded, views. Please p-mail me about this.
