I actually still have the fetid ones I pulled off my '81. Cores were from '85 parts Vanagon.

I'm hoping the other driver side rebuilt is ok. Probably a 1 in a million failure on the passenger side rebuilt, but, well it got me to thinking (see my latest post if curious :)
