RE: Tom Tom got me lost Any of the various GPS units out there will do a good job IF they have the right software and map data, especially the map data. The receivers now are all abou the same. The variation is in the user interface, that's where the differences are. And in the map data. Most are using the Navteq files but those have various levels of detail. I some cases you have to spend a lot of extra money to get the detailed coverage for areas away from major urban centers. |
