Bryan, Take a look at the marshal literature page. At the bottom you will see extend a stay options inside cover. It should show you how the two hoses hook up. You going to use the small 3/8 fitting on the extend a stay and the other end is going to thread right into the propane tank. If you want to use a 1 pound bottle your going to need another small adapter which you can buy or make. Basically the two hoses you got allow you to hook up to the extend a stay and other other sides are universal adapters to fit other adapters. You may need to buy G-475p or G-487p http://www.marshallbrass.com/literature.htm If you still have problems email me and I'll take a picture of mine but I think this drawing will show you what you need.

I'm finally out there struggling to get it installed since my knowledge of propane connectors is non-existent. One more adapter and I think I'll have it in after work tonight. My question is what hose do I connect to the external tank? If you look at the photo in the link above there are 2 hoses, one short and thin and one long and fatter. An external tank has a large round connector and I don't see that connector on either of these 2 hoses. Which one do I need to connect to the external tank AND since I will be using the small green bottles do I need 2 more adapters? Thanks, Bryan |
