It always comes back down to bleach, I think. I looked for a non-bleach alternative and did'nt find one years ago.  This link is good and explaining mildew and it's prevention:

The cure is to keep the interior of the Wesfalia dry, low humidity . I use Dri-Z-Air caclium chloride granules inside the Westfalia to absorb moisture from the air . Dri-z-Air is available at RV supply stores.

Hi all,
I don't remember if we ever nailed down what is the best method to clean off the mold from the canvas, or from the ceiling for that matter.  I am looking for something that is not a caustic as the Chlorox.  I think, the fabric of the canvas would be compromised, weakened with the Chlorox method.  There must be a better way.
