Subject: color code for 1987 light blue Vanagon?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="Windows-1252"

Is there more than one color code for a 1987 light blue vanagon? My van is missing the color code sticker under the fuse box and there isn't any sticker under the seat. I am guessing the code is LH5U Dove blue metalic. I saw there is also a marine blue but it looks too dark. I have based my guess on the following two web pages:

http://www.vanagon.com/info/years/1987/index.html

http://www.gti16v.com/vwcc1987.htm#vwcc1987

My van has two slightly different shades of light blue that does not look like it came from VW that way. I had a spray can of LH5U mixed up, but it looks a little off. Does anyone know of another code for a light blue used for 87 model year?

Thanks

David Hines
