Same job, same parts. You just have to built a new harness. And 2000-04 are very easy, easier than the earlier 2.2L

The cool thing with the 2.5L is that it's a very solid block that can easily be modified to 200-240hp without Turbo or SC. I have about 210 now and fuel consumption is still in the 20. I said easily, well, that is not completely true. It's easy for me. The problem with adding power and staying atmospheric is that it's expensive. A good set of cam and/or modified head are very expensive. I have learn a lot in th past year as to Subi engine mod. I didn't share much because i didn't find any easy or cheap mod.

A WRX is the real cheap way to go. Sadly, for those who care about fuel consumption, it's not the answer either. And i care.

The late drive by wire 2.5L are the way to go at 175 or so HP.

Still, at 7000-9000 feet all engine loose power. Turbo is the way to go.
