Hope the journey is uneventful as far as the vehicle is concerned. You've
really got a great living arrangement in two very beautiful parts of the US.
Did  your transmission have a visible leak? Mine started to leak at one
time and I  replaced a gasket in part of the casing but it later developed a
leak in another  area. It was shortly thereafter that I replaced it with a
remanufactured tranny  from one of our list vendors. Let us know once you've
arrived at your  destination. Good luck.

Some of you may  remember that my 4 speed transmission started making
noise, when under even  the slightest load, and I found it to be exactly
one quart low.  After  refilling it to the proper level, the noise abated
only slightly but  doesn't seem to be getting worse.  Since refilling it,
we've put a  little over 1,500 miles on it including a trip to Hunting
Island, SC (just  below Charleston, SC).  Anyway, shortly after arriving
in Maine, I'll  take the tranny out of my parts van and put it into
"Willow".  Wish me  luck.
