If you follow the Way of the Benny, and believe that you should (whether it's because you want to or because you'll eventually be forced to) do an engine conversion on your van, the list of NLA items like thermostat housings will eventually become irrelevant to you. Things like headlight adjusters, however, will eventually be an issue for all of us, forever. I actually need some of those. I think I might try to cobble together an alternative out of other more readily available parts. On the other hand, if someone has already done that, perhaps they can share their mojo and spare the rest of us the trouble.

Cya, Robert

2.1 liter thermostat housings have also gone NLA.

The list is growing...

Cheers,

Heads Up!!

I have just been informed by one of the major list vendors that the headlight adjusters - in this case I asked for adjusters for the left outboard light on my 88 GL - are NLA!!!! Can't get them. This is going to be a really big PITA for everybody sooner or later. SA grilles for everyone isn't exactly a workable idea either.

While scavenging and hoarding may work for a while, sooner or later we are going to need to be able to purchase adjuster replacements. So, lets everyone do some head-scratching and come up with a solution to this.

Regards,

John Rodgers 88 GL Driver with a loose left outboard headlight!
