I'm a good enough mechanic to fix whatever goes wrong with my van, but it sure was nice to have the thing towed 90 miles to a friendly work- spot. As opposed to changing out an exploded clutch, on a syncro, on the side of the interstate in New Mexico. AAA's been nice to me. That's two free tows for my syncro so far, and one free tow for for an engine donor that obviously hadn't moved in a long time.
