I went to the samba http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/search.php and searched for "weekender", title and description in the vehicles 'Type2 /bus Vanagon/Eurovan' section, left it at "all" and came up with 52 entries.

I know that not all of them are what you are looking for but the bus with a pop top and seats (no kitchen) is available.
