They may well be..I have the inline four in my vanagon, but it has the standard WBX air intake setup. I didn't do the actual conversion so I don't know for sure whether the MAF is still Vanagon, but it looks to me like nothing was done to the whole intake system except hook it onto the fabricated connecting tube to the Golf/Jetta/Rabbit injection, A lot of the other parts are the same, too.
