When I stretched my bus my second pop-top had a beige canvas that was in really good condition. Since I had to cut my second roof about 10 inches I had to?remove the canvas?and modify it to?fit so I decided to try and dye it to match my original grey one. I soaked it in black dye and although?I didn't get the result I hoped for it?does match the grey one a lot better. It is however a little blotchy and still kind of beige. I keep threatening to replace them both so they actually match but they are in great shape. Since one of them has to be modified anyway I may make 2 new ones using Sunbrella material as they have a good selection of colours. I'm hoping they have purple. Cheers, Gerry www.vanalong.com

So, I'm aiming to replace my slightly torn pop-up tent soon, and the drab? beige is crying out for something more exciting. Has anybody tried tie? dying a tent? If so, how successful was it?? ? toodle pip,? --? ? Dug Smith | Terry Pratchett: It's almost? (mailto:dug@dugbert.com) | impossible to ride a rock and roll?
