Don't see how he was floating because only his head was above water there at the end. I don't think those Vanagons in the river crossing video went that deep!

Anyway, to returning to Vanagon issues. I have the nearly ubiquitous squeaky front suspension. Someone on the list suggested trying PB Blaster. I did, and it totally stopped the squeak on the driver's side, but no luck on the passenger's side. I'll let it penetrate for a few hours and give it another squirt. I know this is not a permanent fix, but it sure is easy on the ears for a change. I'll report back later.
