Shoot, it was three, no four years ago the 300k milestone got passed in my 94 Ford Diesel truck, which I would probably still drive daily if it weren't for that spike in diesel fuel prices a few years back. That spike caused me to "re-discover" the VW Van, and though the old F250 4X4 still lumbers down the road without much fuss, I now prefer the Vanagon for all but my heavy towing duties and really poor road conditions. That one turned 300 thousand miles on the East Cape of Baja.. Don Hanson
