Bostig would like you to use a motor from a 2000-2003 ford
focus. Preferably with the purple plug for the ECU. Website has
more info on Intake manifold numbers etc. when you go shopping for a
motor at the junkyard. I found two here in town for $300 and $350
respectively, but still think I might need more torque than the 2
liter can bring. I may be wrong. No question the engine conversion
is drop dead simple.
