Add me to the list.

The hinge on the pedal came loose in both my '85 GL and most recently in my 88 GL. Nuts and bolts did the trick. Recently in looking at the fix - I check it when I can - I discovered rusting that appeared to be coming completely through the sheet metal in the floor. This is an area that can and does trap water. So you will want your mechanic to get ti up on the rack and give the area a good going over. And while he is there the fix on the hinge can be done easily.

Regards,

John Rodgers 88 GL Driver
