I had a manual tranny 85 GL and currently running a manual tranny 88 GL. Both have been run for untold miles on the Redline MT90. I made the switch on the 85 GL when the tranny was re-built. I went to MT90 in the 88GL because of shifting issues. Problems instantly solvd as soon as the Redline MT90 was installed.

My $.0.02.
