Exactly. For if UPS delivers Gerry, there would be:

A. No Vanagon content. B. Little risk of a long, harrowing tale about breakdowns.

Edward's suggestion to find a chain of volunteers to relay the hardware -- in Vanagons only -- from Maryland to Oregon is a great one. The event would become forever part of the list lore. A photographer must be present for each hand off to document each stage of the adventure.
