CV Moly Grease theoretically would be great, except it has poor resistance to moisture and attracts dirt and grit like a magnet (it's too sticky). You're better off using a product that is designed for wheel bearings, not CV joints.

I have only used StaLube Brand Hi Temp Disc Brake Wheel Bearing Grease for over 30 years, much better water resistance and doesn't gunk up with dirt and dust like CV moly grease, but it's pretty sticky stuff none the less. Manufactured by CRC and sold in almost any auto parts store coast to coast. I use to sell it when I had a store some years back. I even use it one drum brake wheel bearings for longer life, never a failure yet.

Google CRC SL3161 and see what I mean. -- Jim Thompson 84 GL 1.9 "Gloria" 84 Westfalia 2.1 "Ole Putt" 72 411 Station Wagon "Pug" oldvolkshome@gmail.com http://www.oldvolkshome.com jim@airheadparts.com *********************************** On Fri, May 15, 2009 at 3:18 PM, pdooley <psdooley@verizon.net> wrote:
