Albeit the Syncro's made those places possible, that's not the topic here,
it's Vanagon's and their mileage ... to say nothing of the expansive vista's
and great company. It's quiet out there with no RV generators to offer up
their noise pollution. Dirt road driving in 2nd and 3rd gears doesn't give
you great mileage .... but does give you so many other things it's easy to
forgive the mileage.
