Absolutely! The ability of Vanagons to go where no motor homes dare to go..That is the best.

If you are forced into close proximity to a motor home herd you had better have a motor home your ownself. Then you can go inside and shut out the other motor homes...

I especially find my Vanagon's (2wd) manuerverability to be very useful..I have no qualms about turning into an unknown dirt track in the forest, knowing that I'll rarely find myself unable to turn around or even back out, if I have to. Not something most other camp vehicles can do with ease..
