How many of you who are purporting  this idea are ready to pay shop time for
it ?  ONLY in very rare  circumstances do I EVER pull and engine to replace
an exhaust system.  I  have made up special drill bits for use with a small
air powered right  angle drill to drill out the rear studs/bolts if need be.
 Removing the oil  filter may be the only other advantage.
