Subject: Vanagon Westy's for Sale in WoodStock NY (Not mine,
              but I know the person)

So I have an associate of mine who has a couple of Westy's that need a little love that he wants to get rid of. The engines are solid he says. One of them has a GTI engine in it. All of them have some minor issue with them so they are not running. But if you have some mechanical ability and some time they are great buys. He does own his own flatbed so transporting them could be something you could work out with him probably.

Here is the link to his ad. http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=789048

One is an 88 which is a Maroon Westy in the Ad.

His Name is Terry Ackert and he used to be a VW Dealer Mechanic back in the Golden days of the Vanagon. He no longer works on them as he has a Jeep Parts Business that keeps him very busy so he is looking off load the Vans to someone who put them to good use. I can tell you from dealing with him that he is an honest no BS kind of guy, will tell you exactly what is wrong with them as far as he knows.

prices are $2500-$4000 but I think it is all negotiable within reason.

Regards to all.

Robert NY
