I feel kinda foolish asking this but....

Is this the same for all Vanagon shoe return springs? Is the potential issue only related to how they hook to anchor and shoes? (i.e. not different tensions?)

If so, I need to check mine. The brakes work fine, but now that detail is bugging me!
