Okay, that makes sense now. I guess my experience with cheap pop rivets and cheap pop rivet guns (where I have seen more than one of the center pins fall out after the rivet was in place) gives me a different impression of the use of pop rivets. But with the hose over the rivets no problem. Sorry for wasting band width but I was having trouble visualizing what was being talked about, I've only dealt with the pesky inserts once and that some years ago.
