David made this same excellent suggestion when I reported the same problem awhile back. My fridge had developed a "blowing-out" problem after I removed it for servicing. If this is your problem, you can fix it without removing the fridge. Just remove the external vent, and bend the hoses so that they line up correctly by themselves before replacing the vent.
